bung for older ELC sand/water table

Table is fine but the 2 bungs have perished with age.
I have tried in Mothercare but they only have bungs for their newer type of table which is a different size. Mine is the one that is divided diagonally and about 7 years old.
A basin plug (38mm) is too small and the bath one (42mm )is too big. Seems a shame that I can't pass this on to another child for want of 2 bungs.
any ideas welcome.

Have you tried contacting ELC they are usually very helpful
they do do some spare parts, but not sure if they are the bits for the right table

thanks for that but our mothercare is also a ELC and they did check the spares online for me. I checked the newer model on display and the holes are unfortunately smaller than my one.
oh well have to keep looking as it is too good to throw out but useless without the bungs.0 -
Could yoy not just stick some wide tape over the hole, or tape a bit of cardboard over it?
Seems a better way of saving money to me!Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Home-brewing shops may have a variety of bungs.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

what size do you need?0

I measured what is left of the original and 40mm would be fine.0

we had on older style one (square divided into two triangles) and lost the bungs, and dear daughter discovered whilst trying to post a milk bottle cap that it got stuck and fitted perfectly - worked a treat!0
