How to reveal Christmas gift ?!

Hi All,
I know it is forever away............but,
I have had a rough couple of years with my health, on the mend finally
Dh has been a great support and I have treated us to a trip to Iceland for 4 nights over new year :j hopefully to see the northern lights and go whale watching
my parents are having the children, so it will be just us. We are going on the 28th Dec coming back on 1st Jan. I found a great deal which is why I have booked it so early.
We have a tradition in our house of after dinner gifts on Christmas day, it is usually quite a big pressie. We always have 1 each and then a family gift for the 5 of us to share together ( last year I got tickets to a panto for us all on boxing day ! ) so in keeping this I would like to give him the trip to Iceland as his after dinner gift. I don't want to just hand over the tickets, but maybe a few things leading up to the tickets iygwim !
I was thinking something along the lines of some thermals, gloves etc this won't give the game away as dh snowboards and will be needed during our trip, the last item I was thinking was our passports with the tickets inside. Any ideas of something else for in the middle ? or something else completley !
Woohoo I am so excited :j:j:j

What about an ice tray, one of those that makes ice straws, ice shot glasses or funny shaped ice. A DVD about whales or the area, if you will be seeing the Northern lights could you give something themed to Blackpool illuminations (assuming Blackpool is north of where you live!), and something relating to the word land, I think you can get a free piece of land on the moon and print a certificate off of ownershipBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
Rehome an unwanted prize or gift with a seriously ill child through Postpals.co.uk0 -
you could take photocopies of the tickets and place them in a plastic bag, and then freeze the tickets inside a block of ice which he has to smash to reveal his gift....?0

How about getting a Christma dinner dessert from Iceland (the food shop)?0
