    Your organisation (assuming it's public sector?) will have a policy on protection of information. This will set out how to transfer sensitive information between colleagues. It might be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the policy so you know what you can and can't do and can tell your boss accordingly.

  • Hi, someone came across this week and copied onto an encrypted memory stick, so I at least don't have to worry about that.

    Nope, although we work for the local authority, we are in a non local authority building and our emails, documents, databases etc on are a non local authority server in this building. It sure is complicated.

    Anyway, it'll all be deleted and wiped once we're redundnant....
