Buchanan clark and wells

Hi sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, my partner has had a final notice letter from Buchanan Clark and Wells about £1134.75 he owes to NPower, the last time he got a letter he rang NPower and asked for a breakdown, but got no reply.

Does anyone have a link to a letter maybe a 'Prove it' or something like that that we can send to BCW? thanks very much.

His first initial on the letter is a 'C' rather than a 'K', but his surname is the same.

My partner sent the letter and got one back stating that BcW have done a 'cease all action' on the account and to confirm in writing full name and whether he has any link to the previous address where the dispute was.

He's just sent an email to them stating that he is not prepared to send any further info to them,that he had sent the letter, and for them to take it up with NPower themselves - is that ok?

Sounds fine, he's sent the prove it letter so it's up to them to do just that. They cannot resume collection activity until they have provided proof, it is not up to him to provide information to assist them.

If you ignore them, they will just send a few more threat-o-grams and then crawl back into the gutter..
