Mortgage Overpayments question

Hi,
I have a £120k mortgage with C&G and I am allowed to switch. I would like to change to a mortgage that:
- Has an online account, where I can log-in and see my balance etc
- Allows me to pay in extra each month (If I can, won't be every month).
Are there any that match the above at a decent rate?

What rate are you on? If you are C&G's SVR at 2.5% you will struggle to beat that elsewhere.
Your existing mortgage should allow you to pay off extra. You need to have a chat with C&G but there should be a variety of ways for you to pay extra off. Sending a cheque etc
You won't be able to do it online but you should be able to call up and get balances.
If you are desperate to have a mortgage where you can do everything online, then you probably need an offset mortgage, however you will have to pay a much higher rate than 2.5%0 -
According to their website, you need to set an amount you want to pay off extra each month, my problem is some months I won't be able to.
Strange that you can't do it all online in 2012.0 -
You can make irregular payments

I'm with C&G too. You can either increase your monthly direct debit or call them to make one off debit card overpayments. I think you can also pay cash over the counter in branch though I've not tried it myself.
Somewhere on here I read a post saying if you have certain Lloyds accounts then you can see your C&G mortgage on the online banking.0
