Wedding dress underskirts/ hoops

So I've been looking at underskirts/ hoops for under my dress. Its an A line skirt, so I would need a 1 hoop underskirt.
I've been looking around on the internet (ebay, preloved, etc) and I saw some pretty cheap ones on ebay, some from Chinese sellers and some along the same lines but from UK sellers.
I was wondering if anyone's had a cheap one and if it supported their dress for the whole day, and also if anyone got those lines where you can see the hoop under the dress, or if I'd be better shelling out for a proper Jupon hoop?

Stir_crazy I am looking for the same thing, don't want any extra fullness, so no netting, just the hoop.Saving for wedding 25 August 2013£1,090/£6,000Wedding Diet7lbs lost , 33lbs to go0

i have a thread on here somewhere, with the same query.
i bought a cheap hoop from ebay. good quality and no problems with it, but it doesn't suit my dress at all.
i think only ballgown type dresses need a hoop.
mine will be ok with the underskirt and net it has or just maybe a petticoat with no hoop.0 -
Thanks kaylee, I found your thread (I thought I saw a thread on here about it).
When I was trying on dresses I always wore a hoop and I like the poofiness my dress gets with a hoop underneath it (just a one hoop petticoat), but the Jupon underskirts just seem so expensive to wear it once.0 -
I tried on a hoop in the shop with the A-line dress, and it made no difference to the overall shape, however it did make it much easier to move about in, as it keeps the material away from your feet.Saving for wedding 25 August 2013£1,090/£6,000Wedding Diet7lbs lost , 33lbs to go0

I'm going to see my dress tomorrow afternoon. I'll try with and without the hoop (didnt think of trying without) and also ask her if there's a cheaper alternative to the Jupon.0
