It's my best friend's hen this weekend, and I've organised everything from accommodation to activities, to groceries even. We are staying in center parcs and have lots of fun things to do all weekend.
The only thing I'm short of is a few fun games to play after the food on the evenings. We're bringing some singing/dancing games on the Wii, so that will be good. I'm just at a loss for 'hen' games. She's not the type to appreciate 'naughty' type stuff (and her future Mother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law are attending!) but she is up for a laugh and a cocktail or several.
Any ideas?

If anyone's got 'Crainium' that's always a laugh (especially if you've had a couple!) but I think it's quite expensive to buy. We also enjoy 'Articulate' (or Taboo). Have fun, you're a good friend for organising it all!0

How about something along the lines of famous romatic couples. You can read out a description of them and people have to guess the couple.
IE - He was a devil sporting red she a singing temptress with a spicy personality = Posh & BecksFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -

a quiz about the henThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Mr and Mrs? Doesn't have to necessarily be naughty - we played it at my fiance's sister's hen last year and the questions were things like names of childhood pets, what the groom would do if he won the lottery etc."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

If you can get hold of people before a nice one is to get everyone to give you a fact about them that is true but the bride doesn't already know. Then the bride reads them out and guesses whose fact is who - it's a nice ice breaker if there are people who don't know each other too. It's the only un-naughty game I have played I am afraid!Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0

I heard of one which I thought was good- its a play on the childhood game:
Write I take thee... On a piece of paper, fold it and pass it on,
The next person writes a bit more etc. then the bride reads it out at the end. It's as rude as you make it!:T0 -
I did:
I wrote out questions for Groom to answer and she had to guess his answer, various ones like what is his shoe size (my hen guessed wrong!) And what 2 words would he use to describe you, if he cooked a meal what would he cook as the starter. I had what is his fav position in bed but you could scrap that one :-)
Also did a crossword for guests on 'how well do you know the bride' which was fun - you can get a template of internet.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

:cheesy: I like the sound of this... is more personalised & thoughtful than the standard board games (although they could be good afterwards!) and gives the groom-to-be a presence at the event - he is half the reason you are all there afterall.
Getting some naughty and mushy stuff in there (as appropriate for the hen) means you can make it funny and end on a soppy note.0 -
I would have liked a game of Mr and Mrs like Minerva and Ajax suggest. Unfortunately noone at my largeish gathering knew MrD as they were all work colleagues.0

I arranged my sister's hen do for center parcs at longleat. we went in july and it was a brilliant weekend. we played games on the friday night, we went down to the sports bar on the saturday night as they had a disco between 9pm and midnight and that was really good and then sunday night we were all so tired we just watched tv! below is some of the games we either played or i thought we might play but ran out of time. i am so jealous i wish i was back at center parcs this weekend
Make a Man – This is one of those hen party games to play that can be done individually or in teams. Each has to sculpt an assigned body part without peeking at the other teams. The bride then gets each body part and puts it together to form a whole man. Take a picture of the finished product.
• Banned Words is one of those party games for hen nights that are an all time favorite. Start off with a list of words that can not be uttered during the duration of the party. Common words are best so more people can be caught using them. This game continues throughout the party and every time someone utters a banned word, they have to take a drink, pay a fine or do a dare.
Plant the Kiss on the Star -This is similar to Pin the Male on the Model but instead of pinning a valuable male appendage, the goal is to try to kiss the man on the lips. Make sure fresh lipstick is applied first so everyone can see where it lands. WE DID THIS ON A KEITH LEMON MASK
How well does the bride know her husband to be
Before the hen party gets into full swing, ask the groom 20 or so questions about himself. At the hen party, have all the girls ask how well they think the bride knows her future husband. Have them guess and write down how many of the twenty questions they think she will get right.
You can even take bets!
Have everyone give you a £1.00 and the winner will get 1/2 of the money. The other half can be spent buying drinks for the bride-to-be
• The Great Bride Make-over
Have the bride sit in the middle of the room. Ask for two volunteers, and have them act as her make up assistants. Blindfold one of them. Now have the her assistant pick out various eye shadows, lip colours and the like to give to the make-up assistant who isn’t blindfolded.
Encourage others to suggest colours that will look great (but actually look ridiculous on her). Then, the bride-to-be and make-up artists can pose for a photo. Don’t provide the bride with a mirror until after that photo is taken. Be sure to get a close up on the bride’s face!
Give a small card to everyone and ask them to write a piece of advice for the hen. It could be about married life, advice about men, or some simple words of wisdom. Put them all in a nice envelope.
Rude pass the parcel willy lollies etc
Ibble Dibble is a drinking game and since any number of players can take part, large groups can enjoy this tongue-twisting hen party game. You need to have a paintbrush a cork and a lighter. The game starts with everyone getting a drink first. 'Ibble dibble' is the name given to all players at first and 'dibble ibble' is what players who get marked are called.
Each hen do player names herself as 1,2,3,4 and so on. The game starts with player number 1 passing the lighted cork, chanting "Ibble dibble 1", to player number 2. This continues till someone slips her tongue and makes mistakes in calling out. She is then marked on her face and another round of drinks is had and the game continues. The player with no marks on her face is finally declared the winner. But, the hilarious part is when the girls with marked faces troop into nighclubs or bars!
Ask who at the party would like to regain her virginity. When you have several volunteers, place in front of each of them Ingredients
• Maraschino Cherries
• Whipped Cream
To Play
• Ask who at the party would like to regain her virginity.
• When you have several volunteers, place in front of each of them a maraschino cherry in a bowl. Explain that this will be a race to see who can eat their cherry first. They cannot use their hands.
• Just as they think this will be an easy game, you go around with a can of whipped cream and fill each bowl. Now you have a fun game.

Consequences is a fun game quite like Mad Libs, the game is played using only paper and pen. Here, the players sit in a circle and take turns to write a story. The written part of the paper is folded to hide the contents and then passed on to the next player. There is a structure to be followed here like; Hen name...His name..where they met..what she said, and so on. At the end, one player unfolds the paper and reads out the story.
The final part of this game is called the 'consequences', which is an explanation about what happens next and how others reacted to the incident. The purpose of this game is to come up with a hilarious short story about the bride-to-be!
This is a great way to initiate a party, if your guests are large in number and are not familiar with each other, then this ice-breaker of a game, comes handy.
You can start by asking one of the guests to speak out her name along with something she likes and it should start with the first letter of her name, like "My name is Carolane and I love Cakes". The next guest will then get up and say' My name is Anna and I love Apples, and her name is Carolane and she loves cake". Wait for those confusing moments when someone messes up the names and their repective likes. But, at the end of the game you can be sure everyone knows each other by name.
"The Chocolate Game"
Equipment:
1 dice. Some items of clothing which can be quickly put on e.g. hat, gloves or oven gloves, scarf, etc.
Bar of chocolate on a plate (leave the wrapper on),
knife and fork.
[HINT: If you don't want to see your bar of chocolate finished within a few minutes of the game starting make sure you've included a pair of oven gloves or other such thick wooly gloves as an item to wear!!]
Definitely needs gloves... a lot of fun and just as popular with adults for some strange reason… probably something to do with the chocolate :-) . Leave the wrapper on the chocolate bar, players take turn to throw the dice and on throwing the six put on the clothes and gloves before picking up the knife and fork in an attempt to get into the chocolate bar and eating it using the knife and fork only. Again player continues until the next player who throws a 6 snatches off the hat.
Cut the Flour Cake
Make a flour cake by tightly packing a bowl with flour, and turning it upside down like a sandcastle. Ask your guests to sit in a circle on the floor, and then place the flour cake in the middle. Carefully place a small lolly in the centre of the cake, and explain that everyone will take turns cutting a slice, but they must not let the lolly fall.
The kids can take as big or small of a slice as they wish, and they can cut the cake in any direction. Who ever causes the lolly to fall must collect and eat it using only their teeth. The ‘winner’ gets a face full of flour, but strangely, they always want to play another round.
To make it harder you could get your guests to cut the cake with the knife between their toes, or with a blindfold on.
Everyone writes down 5 names and put into cup. 1st round use as many words as u like to describe person. 30 secs to guess as many as poss, go round until none left. 2nd round only use 2 words, 3rd round only actions.0
