Cheaper versions of Benefit/Estee Lauder face wash?

Hi everyone,
I have tried a lot of face washes but only recently have I found something I really love. I got one of the Benefit mini skincare sample set things, tried the face wash and fell in love immediately! It is a very creamy consistency (but not like one of those cream cleansers that you apply with a cotton pad and don't wash off), it lathers very well and is definitely a face wash rather than a cleanser, if that makes sense. The reason I love it so much is it makes my face feel literally squeaky clean! This is something I have never really felt with the gel-like face washes, and I have always needed a proper face wash (with water) as I never feel my face is 'clean' enough with other types of cleansers. It also works amazingly well with my clarisonic, not too harsh at all. I later tried the Estee Lauder face wash and it is very similar.
The problem is the Benefit face wash is £16.50 for something like 125ml and although a little goes a long way due to the crazy lathering, it is still quite expensive. The Estee Lauder one is about £18.
So I was wondering if anyone here knows of a cheaper face wash similar to what I have described (creamy consistency, lathers easily and makes the skin feel really clean)? I have tried a few non-department brand face washes but have never come close to anything like these products, just wondered if someone here has.
Would be very grateful of any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the Soap and Glorey facial wash? There are a few I'd recommend, the 4-in-1 is really good though.0

I always use 'Simple Regeneration age resisting facial wash'.
Tried so many before that, but haven't found anything better for my skin. Not too drying, very cleansing, lathers well (I sometimes do my eyes twice if using to remove eye makeup as can take two goes, but far better at removing it than anything else). Most you can't use on the eyes anyway...
Did get a good deal the other day so stocked up, but can't for the life of me remember where... useless! Google might help for pricing. Deals can often be had.

Check the main ingredients of each one (the ones at the top of the list) and google them to see if you can find cleansers with the same active ingredients. Then search for those cleansers through Google Shopping for the best price.0

I've been using the Body Shop Vit E cleanser and that's good, only needs a tiny amout for a decent lather and we're in a hard water area.
Will definitely be taking a trip to Superdrug soon though!0 -
Another vote for Soap and Glory, I swear by there stuff. I use the detoxing face wash every day and I love it, it leaves my skin really soft and my pores reduced, and it leaves my skin feeling all tingerling, love it!!! Oh and the smell is lush. And at roughly £7 a tube is is a lot cheaper too!Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0

What are the ingredients?
The ingredients are: WATER (AQUA), GLYCERIN, PEG-32, PALMITIC ACID, STEARIC ACID, SODIUM LAUROYL GLUTAMATE, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE, LAURIC ACID, MYRISTIC ACID, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM), GLYCERYL STEARATE, PEG-100 STEARATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, POLYQUATERNIUM-10, LINALOOL, TETRASODIUM EDTA, HEXYL CINNAMAL, LIMONENE, CITRONELLOL, BHT
Does anyone have links to the Soap & Glory ones as the only one I could find was a gel-like wash.
I picked up the Simple one from Superdrug for a couple of quid but that is also very much a gel forumla0 -
Id buy it if you like it!! Debenhams have their megaday around the 10th or so of september - that would make it a bit cheaper for you!0
