Just a quick FB question

I use my personal Facebook for comping, but I don't like to clutter up my friends' newsfeed with all the comps I enter in a day. So what i do is, when the box comes up for the app asking for permission I click 'only me'.

So far I have won hardly any fb comps, do you think it's because of the restrictions I'm putting on? Should I leave the privacy option on 'friends'?

A lot of Companies now say that you must share publicly, otherwise they can't see that you have shared.

im new to fb comping only joined yesterday but i did read on another thread that you need to keep it public so the competition runner can see you shared it as i put private for a few of mine until i read that lol

Sorry, I forgot to add I don't enter the ones where you comment and/or share. It's comps where you have to answer a question and fill in your details, should I be putting these as public?
