My experience last year was really disappointing. You were in a slot with other children of all ages (we thought the slot was just for your family). My 4yr old was full of wonder but the two 8yr olds of another family ruined it for all the young children by running around and dominating the elves/fairies and telling Father Christmas that he was not real!!!0

Yuck, how annoying!:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0

I went last year and it was a long wait but the characters keep the kids entertained.wont be going this year though.only problem I had were quite a few family's saying that the people they were with were near the front and they had to get to them so just pushed passed straight to the front and they weren't with anyone near the front it was just pure cheek.there were quite a few who did this.thats all you need is arguments in a queue to see Santa haha.the staff didn't say anything they were too scared.if your in the area then go but I wouldn't make a long journey to go0

We have been every year for at least the last five years and love it. The staff are brilliant and really make it worth the long train trip to get there. Last year, my husband was unwell and the staff ensured that we did not have to queue at all but were taken straight through to see Father Christmas - this is not something we have ever asked of them before, we have stood in the queue for 30 minutes previously but on this occasion it really was necessary and Harrods were brilliant about it.
You pay a £10 "admin" fee which you get back to spend in store - we usually buy the Harrods teddies which by the time we go are usually 2-4-1 as well and they are lovely.
The children usually get a book, a chocolate coin, a badge and a wonderful experience.
Thoroughly recommend it.0 -
We organised it as a charity thing, it seemed some days were better than others, sometimes there were characters keeping the kids entertained and others just a long boring queueBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
Rehome an unwanted prize or gift with a seriously ill child through Postpals.co.uk0 -
I've been many times and it's been fantastic and very enjoyable for all
Married my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j0 -
Can you register at any of the levels thus maybe getting priority booking, or do you have to spend a lot of money to get to that level?0
