OK...I hit a big Tesco's today. Bf looked at the tellys as I told him I would be a long time.
BTW I purchased some samples for him from Liz Earle, but he hasn't bothered to use them. Men,eh?
Items purchased and they are reduced by a quid at the moment:
Skin Brightener cleanser... 2.69...150ml... ( this is the substitute for Liz's C&P )... Well, you cannot use it to remove your eye makeup...2.79...150ml...they do a separate Gentle eye make-up remover. Expensive as it's much cheaper to use wipes from home bargains ( yep...tesco's do these in same range....but they don't remove eye make up )
Muslim cloths and other accessories appear to be a rip off...
Revitalising toner...2.79...contains Alcohol Denat....no idea if this is alcohol as in Clinique's toners...
Intense recovery mask...2.79....75ml...couldn't see an item described as moisturiser,so I'm presuming this is it...
Eye cream...3.99...15ml...I have never used eye cream, but I will give this a go.
Brightening shower scrub and toning shower wash...2.89 each...250ml...I have noticed they both contain sodium laureth sulfrate...Liz's orange blossom doesn't...
Intensive body cream...2.59...150ml...haven't use Liz's, so can't compare...
Organic handwash...2.29...250ml...I needed some more anyway.
Total: 25.71
A lot more products for the money...but do they work?
One thing I do know, I forgot to use the C&P this morning and used Simple as I've some left....I noticed a big difference.0 -
Does anyone know which Liz Earle products contain parabens????0

I must admit to getting pretty obsessed about all this organic stuff now.
Having done some research on SLS and alcohol denat. I'm not so sure the bNatural range is all that natural! I'm not going to take any of the products back, but I'm definitely not going to use the toner.
The body cream...perhaps I should have gone for the butter cream?...is very heavy and the texture reminds me of the big tubs of aqueous cream you get in the pharmacy.
Haven't used the shower products yet.
I'm going to stick with Liz Earle.
I found this link too which looks interesting:

Jammygal - I don't know, but if you email/phone them up, I'm sure they will tell you.
One thing I do know Liz Earle's staff are very helpful. I suppose you get what you pay for.0 -

I suggest if you think Liz Earle is "Organic and Natural" researching these
as the range contains them.
Phenoxethanol,Methylisothiazolinone an irritant and only reccomended for rise off products,Methylparaben,Propylene Glycol,Cetyl Alchohol,Parfum.
You might be suprised!
I also think it is a little dishonest to glorify all the good ingredients on the Liz Earle website yet conveintly choose to omit the bad ones. Are U getting enough Vitamin D in your life!?0 -
Yes you do get what you pay for indeed, but Tesco's new range is good.
There are many of the Liz Earle products I don't like, so even if I replace those with Tesco products I'll be happy.
I don't think anything is pure ect as we might think or shops might have us believe, but I always try to keep stuff I use as natural as my purse will allow, and that's a positive for Tesco.0 -

Agreed! And I will research those chemicals. Quite a fascinating subject. Thanks again.0 -
Bought the cleanser last night. I have a chemistry degree and have seen the list of ingredients of some so called natural stuff and the Tesco range is more natural than most especially for having essential oils in it. I asked a member of staff and they told me their products aren't tested on animals but they use ingredients from a safe list that in the past may have been tested by another company.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0
