    Hi Jeffer,
Have you contacted one of the free debt charities, like https://www.cccs.co.uk or payplan. Personally I found cccs much better than payplan, but everyone differs. They can advise you what is the right step for you, and how it will affect you.
If you want more specialised answers to more specific questions, post your own thread and I am sure you will get lots of replies, they are friendly people here.

Mine was the same. Due to rubbish credit it was referred. This went to a different department and it took them 1 week to check records and confirm we weren't fraudsters! As we needed a joint account, they needed to verify oh, (not me) but needed someone in the PO to verify a photo of OH passport and utility bill. Then sent this back. So roughly 2-3 weeks, although the confirmed they will be opening it!
So don't worry it will be fine!

  • Well done, NekoZombie. Doesn't it feel odd not to owe money to anyone? I did mine today, & I feel a bit shell-shocked that it's all over. It doesn't quite feel real - I suppose if I neck a couple of large Bacardis later, I won't really care how real it feels. :D

As already said on your thread; WELL DONE! :T

Apparently, the worst is over. You have to admit though - the buildings in Thomas Moore were pretty nasty. Didn't everyone look terribly dejected? I must have been the only cheery person in the room!

    Thankyou Bakey,

I wish you well for your upcoming day. *searches for the thread with everyone's dates on'. Trust me, I think it was the best (and of course, the most important), thing I've ever done in my life. Thank goodness I was brave enough to face it!
