I don't think so as you are not setting up an online account with your details. You just go into the shop get your freebies and take a movie away. Return movie forget about membership. Job done.

Has anybody tried this yet? Also, can you be a member of two Blockbuster stores? I have two very near each other, one of which I am a member of.

Well although I don't use blockbuster that much, I think i'll try this because I love my ice cream!

I tried to use this and the response was that if you'd ever been signed up at a store you couldn't use the voucher.

When I said I had been years ago at a distant branch where I used to live, they insisted on calling that store to make sure there was no 'outstanding money due on my account'!!!

Was a bit of a faff tbh....I didn't have time to wait around while they tried to call my old store, if I get time I might go back....

Just been to my local Blockbuster (which was really busy!). Took less than 2 minutes to sign up, rent DVD and get my free ice cream.

I went to my local store and they said that they had been told not to accept these vouchers and they wouldn't honour it! Waste of a journey.....! :mad:

I've found it to be a very good deal. Half the haagen Daz has been eaten and enjoying a free film a day!
