If Jack Daniels ever did an actual honey, I bet Selfridges would stock it..

This sounds lovely! I saw it in my local Tesco Metro the other day but was in a bit of a rush so didn't really clock what it was until I saw this thread, I'll go back and check it out next time I'm there. Didn't see how much it was either but Tesco shouldn't be as expensive as an offie.

Be about £22 i reckon, morrisons apparently have it for £20.

    I GOT SOME.

Managed to get the one bottle from Morrison's it was £20. I am delivering my report as requested.

It smells like JD, maybe slightly more mild. It's a beautiful colour. When I taste it, it's definitely JD. If that makes sense, it does taste like JD but more mild and sweeter. There is a honey tone in it but not over powering. There is still the JD warmth. As I am making it through the glass, it is maybe a touch sweet but maybe not, might be for some.

Can't comment on what it tastes like with a mixer and I find that sacrilegious.

I would definitely recommend and have it again.

Hope this has helped somebody, thanks for all who have responded.

I saw it being bottled at the plant in Tennessee when I was there a couple of years ago and it was on sale alongside all the other varieties of Jack Daniels, I did wonder how long it would take for the market to open up over here.

Got my bottle from Tesco a few weeks ago and so far have tried it neat, with lemonade, coke, ginger beer and apple juice. Not too keen on it with ginger beer (but I'm not a big ginger beer fan anyway!) and it's surprisingly nice with apple juice. Am thinking of trying with traditional lemonade next.

I know its an old thread but has anyone ese tried it and what do you think ?

I tried some the other weekend and it was quite nice, its definitely got some of the JD kick when its drunk straight, i did shot it though so maybe id have prefered it with ice. Mixed with pepsi its nice but it does ruin it.
  • My mate has tried it and really likes it, he says it's best with ice.

Got an email today from Sainsbury's and have it on offer for £17.99 from £23.99 so I'll be getting a bottle.
