if an investigation meeting is rearranged can an employer change the wording of the allegation ?

Yes. An investigation is to investigate whether misconduct has occurred. Any misconduct. The allegation, if one is made, comes out of the investigation and is the basis of a disciplinary.0

Yes.
If I am investigating someone [for example] for sending out client data via email, and during the investigation of their email account I find that there is evidence of [for example] fraud then the allegation will change not only wording but emphasis and probably level of disciplinary.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it.
