we only had one set but now have no bowls left after our 3y/o broke the last one. I need a robust set for cheapish <£30

I recommend you buy a white dinner service with no pattern so if one piece breaks and the set is no longer available you can buy additional pieces that will match. We have the maxim set from M&SThrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

I got some last Christmas from Next, £14 a set, in white which I would defeinately recommend.

I bought a Viners one at the weekend from @home for £20 and love it .0

I second m&s. We got our plates & bowls on a 3 for 2 offer...plain white to match in with our white IKEA as we broke most and IKEA discontinued the range.0

Oh, just remembered Sainsburys has quite nice dinner sets (sold individually) for good prices in their TU range.0
