Don't worry, someone will be along shortly to point out they're asking prices;)
....and you're a very naughty girl for sneaking over to Housepricecrash!0 -
The argument about dont worry they are asking prices is more relevant when rightmove shows increase numbers, because optimistic sellers try it on with a high price.
When these sellers are dropping asking prices by around 2% per month this is a good indication that they will accept a lot lot less. The latest survey data suggests to us that the UK housing market is like a tyre with a slow puncture. You can keep putting air into it for a while, but no matter what you do, eventually it’s going to go down a lot.0 -
House prices won't crash it's a supply and demand issue0

Most bookies would give fairly short odds for predicting a Rightmove fall in any month of August
August 2012 -2.4%
August 2011 -2.1%
August 2010 -1.7%
August 2009 -2.2%
August 2008 -2.3%0 -

Ehhh!!
Do you always just say things that you THINK others are thinking.
I have not once in this thread given an opinion, and even when there was a -3.4% rightmove fall I stated on this board that people should not read anything into it.
Stop making things up Hamish in order win you silly little battles, apart from the fact that I do not have a high opinion of rightmove data either way I am fully aware that there is a lull in August and December, and a rise in spring,0
