Girls Night Out at Canary Wharf 29 March 6pm

Options
Tomorrow evening (Thursday March 29), 6-9pm

Head to the Canary Wharf shopping centre for lots of discounts, plus the freebie section: they're giving away free goody bags and free champagne while stocks last. Do as I plan to, be there for 6pm and grab a goody bag, down a champagne, check out everything else free, then either shop orr go home...I did get a thing in the free London paper that had a map (and threw it away, silly me), that included a fruit coulis fountain as well, so looks like there should be some cool freebies around.

Forgot to say - I'll probably be the one that drunkenly falls into the coulis fountain by 6.30.

Did anyone go last year? What stuff comes in the goodie bag? Thinking of going,....but want to see if it's worth the trek!

    Sounds fab!

Right, everyone try and remember this for the event next year :-)

    Got:

2 free glasses of champagne off the nice male models
Tons of chocs off said male models :kisses:
    Cadburys chocolate samples
    Glass of wine
    2 free cocktails
    Free magazine
Goody bag containing some cosmetics samples, snack samples, and vouchers/offers
    Free head/neck massage
    Free Krispy Kreme do-nut

Didn't spend any cash all night so v pleased.

Missed out on lots more due to lack of energy to deal with hyena-like women all desperate to get their freebies (the one man I saw daring to brave the free cocktails was thoroughly screeched at and barely escaped alive, we women can be rather scary):
-free goody bags from various stores
-free champagne from lots more stores
    -free samples of posh food
-free colour analysis, hand massages, body fat testing,

    Lots of entertainment
-music, fashion shows, balloon artists, the League of Pessimists (caused the most smiles of the evening), a (clever) guy offering free hugs.... :grouphug: hehe

All in all thoroughly recommended for MSE-ers next year. Just be aware that there are a lot of women at this thing and they are all determined to get their freebies so go well fortified and prepared for battle..
