How long after taking Gaviscon can I Eat or Drink again?

I've been prescribed Gaviscon by my doctor to be taken after each meal.
I'm after a bit of advice as to how long I should leave it after taking before I have something to eat or drink.

15 mins to half an hour, after symtoms subside.

Thanks for that. I thought that was the case. However, on some sights it warns you that you breakdown the 'raft' which the Gaviscon creates, reducing the effect that it has.
Anybody else have any experience of using Gaviscon after every meal?Apparently I am the original tight fisted Yorkshire Man!!0
