Covering the greys..

I have just noticed over the past few weeks that I have got several noticeable white hairs in my jet black hair :eek:

I have never really dyed my hair (apart from teenage mistakes!) and don't really want to have to pay extortionate amounts at the hairdressers from now on.

Is there anyway of covering the greys without using a cover all dye which doesn't look natural?

Would the toner/shader type sachets work?

I use Garnier Nutrisse to cover my greys. It's an all over colour but is very easy to apply, doesn't stink the house out and is only £3.99ish depending on where you go for it. It's the one that Davina McCall advertises.

I use Clairol Nice'n Easy - Beige blonde #103. Started off with dark brown hair and one or two grey hairs. They turned blonde - and I've got blonder with the same stuff over the last 20 years! Hair condition is good, it has different tones, and looks natural. I'm sure the Garnier Nutrisse is good, too, but just always stay with the one I know.

I've been going grey for about 10 years (and I'm only 30 :eek: )

The Boots own brand colours are about half the price of others and work exactly the same.
