Mortgage Offer Advice

Options
Hi,

Hoping someone can help.

Have had my Nat West mortgage approved and all ready to go, mortgage of 169000 purchase price 212000.

My question is this, looking to buy a new car 20000 will be a personal loan of which I have not declared to lender as at min do not have loan, will the Nat West credit score me again prior to releasing funds on day of exchange?

Bit concerned this may happen, so is it best to put car purchase off to after exchange and in house or can I go ahead and buy car now?

Thanks

Dave

Its unlikely, but best to assume they could.

They may do a random spot check at any point. Wait until after completion - if you exchange, get the loan and then they spot check and decide to pull your offer, you would be in a large spot of bother!

Definitely wait until after completion before you apply for the loan.
