hi there

we pay the PWC 100 pounds a month this isnt thew the CAS but a private arrangement the OH came home today and said that if the PWC marries we dont have to a pay any more i know im right in thinking he is wrong but just wanted to check as he is soooooo adamant (men eh!..lol)

    Adoption would be the only way you would stop paying for the child. if the PWC's fella were to adopt the child.

    What I think he has got mixed up with is:- if he had been paying maintenance to his ex and she remarried then that maintenance would cease.
    Child support would of course continue, as they are his child(ren).

    Yes, only SPOUSAL maintenance would cease.
