BDF - Birth Defects Fund charity

There used to be a BDF shop in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts. It had some of the best bargains I've ever found. It closed.

I think the charity now has a large store in Cannock, Staffs. Has anyone been there and is it any good? Plus, does anyone know if there are any BDF or similar recommended charity shops in Notts?

I don't think it'll be the same. Volunteers usually decide upon prices themselves so it's worth a look at other charity shops instead.

I know the PDSA I volunteered at had some great prices but since changing hands it's gone downhill.

I don't know how it compares to the one in Notts - I never went there but I love the one in Cannock! As with most charity shops, it's can be a bit hit and miss (frustrating if they haven't got something in your size!), but I've had some lovely stuff over the years - all of it new, end of line/season or slight seconds/returns. My sis got her (stunning) wedding dress from there - £25!! HTH
