Er?! Reading glasses? My mind is made up. The wine that YOU asked about compared at 2am.

The Ketchup that ANOTHER poster asked about compared at 7am.

Hope this highlights the point! :p:p

Yes you may be right I think YOU need reading glasses

It wasn't me who asked about the wine, it was thrifty sister :p

And I may possibly need glasses as I can't find any post saying the T k was working on a 7am shop :o

Just tried out a can or 2 of Heinz five beans in an experimental recipe.
    Also added 'the secret ingredient';)

First, I fried up some APG veggies with herbs of choice. I added a couple of tins of 5B and a glue of the secret ingredient.....

I popped it in a large ovenproof dish.....

That looks yummy. I have just tried the 5 beans for the first time today and think they are really nice. Just so happens my vouchers dated until Nov :D:D

Yes it annoys me when my hubby wants to add extras to our carefully made lists...he has no idea what effort we put into it to make things balance!

Top with anything you prefer: cheesy bread crumbs, pastry, potato slices, etc.

I opted for potato slices as I had some frozen ready to use up....

Not sure what it tastes like yet but the filling was nice on its own :D

Seems pretty adaptable. Will get a few more tins now :)

This looks yummy..tried the beanz last night and find them very tasty..thought I could use the "few" I have acquired ( along with others I may still get to add to mince..for cottage pie..sausages for casserole..as a base for any other slow cook stuff I fancy..bargain !

JJ you always have such lovely recipes..quick questions..I have a bumper harvest of Blackcurrants this year..still loads of jam from last years harvest any ideas how to best utilise them please ?
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

Ooh, that'll be a high APG if you got it all in one.
Your 8 ketchup will generate approx £22/£23 alone, then you'll get approx £14 back for the 6 wines..on top of that is the mincemeat and I've ran out of brain capacity to go any further :p:rotfl::rotfl:
