  • I will list what i bought to see if anyone can tell me where i went wrong:

    3 x Ketchup
    1x smart price mushy peas
    1x filtered milk
    1x smart price batter mix
    1x flump
    1x fudge choc bar
    1x sugar free jelly sachet
    1 x asda delight.

What's the asda delight? If that asda's version of angel delight, someone reported that that wasn't comparing a couple of days ago. It does for some people, but not for others!?

I'm the 2 litre pop, sweet sunday chocs and now ketchup glitch finder. :j:j Its safe to say I'm feeling chuffed at my various successes and how they have helped others on here

Oh, and i was able to confirm that bag re-use counts as 1 of your 8 items. Lets not forget that one! :D

What did I do with my time before I found you guys??

Well if we're blowing our own trumpets then dare I say it was me with thanks to quoia and RootedNomad that brought you the multisaving glitches way back when :o If memory serves I have Muller, Fruit Shoots, Schweppes Lemonade and Doritos on my list of glitches plus the cheap hair care stuff in As :p:p

No seriously though, I wish I'd found these forums sooner. It's amazing what a team effort can produce and the fact so many are now willing to go out of their way to check a glitch and save others time/hassle.

I posted this the other night. The 20p Fudge doesn't compare.

But APG says it only needs ONE comparable item? Asked this just now and nobody has explained! I am mighty confused.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

A bit confused - can someone clarify....
    Asda Price Guarantee:
You need 8 different items, only one has to be comparable? So say you have the ketchup or wine, or both, you simply need 6-7 other items? It doesn't matter if they aren't comparable, does it, because you already know the ketchup/wine DOES compare? Or is it that it is giving 10% difference only on comparables therefore the desire to make the shop up with items that do compare to get that extra 10% back?

I'm puzzled as to why this said they tend to buy 11-12 items to ensure they get enough comparables.... only one is needed!

Just looking into that myself. This from APG website

'You can compare any qualifying basket or trolley of food grocery products you've bought at our stores or online as long as there are at least 8 different items, of which at least 1 should be comparable.' So in theory you can purchase the ketchup and any 7 other items and it should work......however looking at the replies on here I'm guessing this is not the case as some people are saying they receipt doesn't qualify as you do NOT have 8 items.
Doesn't really make sense to me sorry.
