Not in NI it's not though, which I think is where the OP who was asking is from :) If I've got that totally wrong I apologise!

Ah yes it is only valid in Northern Island. Sorry I did not realise you were in NI.
  • Ive FB them 3 times about my local store disabling the Scanners and they come back to say the store is looking into how to fix them, my reply is always do you not have a contractor to fix these, no reply

Scanners are a different issue with Mr T! They took them away in my local. I think there's one in Helst0n. They hate us having use of scanners. If I'd FB'ed them 3 times about something with no response, I think I'd probably email or ring them, not forgetting to tell them them that you've enquired on FB many times but to no avail. I actually believe that clusters of T staff like getting one up on each other, i.e. HO over in store staff, Delivery drivers over in store staff, FB over in store staff...!! You speak to one they agree it's not acceptable and they promptly chew the ear off another! I like the anonimity of FB, when it works, it's great.

Quick question, what flies in the sky that can look like a tentacle-less jellyfish? I saw two within minutes of each other both following the same flight path, is there some sort of aircraft that emits a glow around it? All the other planes were just flashing lights including the ones coming across the same bit of sky so it can't have been clouds causing it, it was a pretty clear night!

Not sure about the jelly fish :D but sounds like they were chinese lanterns, where they orange/yellow in colour

I have just found out that, if you are registered with Kenco, they email you a coupon for a free bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk - and it prints twice.

Also, went in early to Asda looking for the cheap Plenty mentioned yesterday. Normal aisle had 2's, 4' and 6's at varying prices but on the bottom shelf was a tiny yellow SEL (had to go down on hands and knees to read it) which said 8's with £4 crossed out and £2 on it. However, all the packs above the sign were 6's so I thought they'd all gone. But down on an end display was a huge ile of Plenty with a big £4 SEL - and, from where I was standing, the packs looked bigger. Sure enough they were the 8's so I picked up 4 packs.

On my way back up the aisle I saw a young man with a trolley of stuff looking at the Plenty packs. He picked up a 6 pack with a £4 SEL so I pointed out the tiny yellow label and the big pile at the end of the store and explained the glitch. He was a bit worried that the price would be higher so said he would follow me through the checkout with just 1 pack.. Obviously it worked and he was last seen heading back for another 4 packs. He was very pleased and I was glad I'd spoken to him - sometimes you get looked at as though you are just an interfering, daft old biddy and it puts you off a bit.

That's your good deed for the day, well done. :A It takes strength of character to keep trying and help people when you've had some negative experiences, but let's keep trying anyway. :T Otherwise all the nasty custards win.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Yeah we used too have two in c1ift0n. One in clothes and in down DIY. The one down the DIY in no longer there and there is just a hole where it once was. The one in the clothes department has got clothes pressed against it. Whenever I do the MS in there I put that in the other comment box. However, they don't really care.:mad::mad:

Not many reductions in there tonight I was beaten to the reduced by a lady. I was stood at the trolly having look and this lady came up and took the bits for a ride as he was not reducing yet. She bought them back and got them reduced. I'm glad I did not bother though as they only reduced them by 50%. :(:( Last weeks 75% was better. ;)
  • I will try that next time :) thanks

Ok I have just FB them lets see what the outcome is

I remember about 7 years ago going camping in Penz@ance. We did not arrive there until about 11PM. So went and got some chips and found the Tesco there and camped out in the van in their car park. Woke up about 9AM on the day after (Saturday). To a full car park and lots of people walking past looking in.

with 2 mocs, it makes these 75p a bag.

If they are valid against McCain home fries, they are £1 a bag in morrison's. I picked up 2 bags today but alas without a voucher
