Super easy to make. Everything is bunged into one bowl and whisked.

2 or 3 browning bananas (the mushy ones are fine).
    1 egg
    130g SR flour
    1tsp baking powder
    55g butter
    100g caster sugar
A dash of milk (this makes the cake looser otherwise it's a bit dry. If your banana's are really mushy, you only need a drop of milk)

Mix everything in a bowl together to combine. Pour into a greased tin (i put greaseproof paper on the bottom so it's easier to come out).
Put in a pre heated oven 180 C/ 160 fan/Gas 4 for 35 to 45 mins. check after 30 mins. To check if it's done, insert a skewer/knife in the middle and it should come out "clean".

I sometimes add raisins/dates/choc chips but anything goes really... approx 50g of anything..:D

Sounds yummy - I don't 'do' baking but I might just be tempted as it seems so easy. Even for somebody like me whose attempts usually make good door stops lol

  • Afternoon all. Still loads of catching up to do
My little ladys picked up a bit today, which in turn has picked me up a little. Her milk she developed is starting to disappear too. Bless her. I found myself looking at puppies for sale, as I want to make it right for her. I know that's not the answer, so cut the page off.
It's really cold and wet. Awful weather.
Hope your all well and happy :)

    I will have a look, thanks ;)

As long as your little lady is ok, hope she is soon back to her normal self. I've seen your later post too, and see that your vet recommends her being spayed - I am sure that you will do the right thing

It shows 10 wines which shows that it limited the check to the maximum 10, wwhich is howw it worked out dearer as price is for more

Thank you so much 3dogs :)

Lesleysanderson was sorry to hear about your little lady losing her pups, it was obviously not meant to be and I'm sure you wouldn't want this to happen to her again. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon and she will be on the mend. You will just have to pamper her and give her lots of cuddles and attention, and she should soon pick up again.:)

Thank you so much izzey. She has picked up a little today so I'm praying she will get back to her old self again soon :)
