Anyone have a cure for a broken heart ?
Just had dd on phone, had to book 1st flight home (£400) not very MSE but sometimes money does not really matter. She has been working abroad all summer and has just broken up with with her bf and is in bits. She really thought he was the one. She had a flight booked in 2 weeks time anyway but needs to get home asap as she is feeling so down(im worried about her). Luckily she has many good friends who are taking care of her thank god. Anyway I pick her up from local airport on Wed and it cant come soon enough. In middle of decorating ds2 room whilst he is away with my Mum and Dad also. Its all go here. Hope everyone else is well x

I really feel for you and DD :(

This happened with my DS long story but GF did dirty on him and he was living with her in Liverpool DS phoned me broken hearted crying on phone etc.

Took him a long while to get over her everything i said to him couldn't console him. Didnt help his mates calling her all names under the sun.

Hope she's ok till you can get her home. :A

Opened a bottle of the glitched red wine to go with lunch, very heavy and full bodied..not to my taste. Am glad I only bought three bottles. The Rose is nicer, more of an easy drinking wine.

Why not try cooking with it? The red I got will be featuring in slow cooked beef in red wine this autumn. Now I'm making myself hungry....

Is anyone else sitting looking out the window with a consoling glass of rose, wishing they were somewhere sunny? :o
    Hope is not a strategy.

Oh and I think that my laptop has just died

When you switch it on, it just bleeps and the screen stays black. Before the screen started doing nothing, the screen just flashed in a completely random way

Me thinks it is proper poorly sick :(

So am I at the thought of buying a new one :eek

    Oh no qoc! :(

Do you have a decent repair shop near you? We have a very good one in a nearby town which we only found out about through a casual remark of a friend. They're brilliant and will have a look at it for free and tell you if they can sort it or not. When my lappy was very poorly recently they sorted it and fitted a new keyboard for £35.

Might be worth asking round? Hope you get it sorted. :)

Edit: see you've got it to switch on now - good luck!
    Hope is not a strategy.
