Further to my previous post I also had a triumph over my foot, as in I managed NOT to put it right in my mouth at a certain point today!
I was in a craft shop and the female assistant serving me has, over the past few years, been transitioning from a male and still has a rather deep voice. While she served me I noticed a sign behind her saying they couldn't fill balloons because of a national helium shortage and I almost asked whether there were a lot of people going around with high pitched voices  OMG HOW embarrassing would that have been?! I'm so glad I managed to stop myself because her voice is pretty much the only indication she wasn't always female, so she is probably a bit self-conscious over it.
Don't worry though, I shall put my foot in my mouth in some way very soon, my whole personality can't change overnight! :rotfl:Just HOW desperately?  Can you not ask the lady in the next cubicle to pass some under/over the divider, or sneak a look to see if no-one there and nip next door?

I thought I'd done so well finding the red wine, I bought 3x Vina Albani Tempranillo Red but I've just got home and realised it's not the smooth one!!
It was £5.98 a bottle but on the 3 for £10.
I hate the 3hour wait for APG's!!
I think you have the correct one, sounds like the one that worked for me today.0 -

Thanks all, I won't risk it, I'll be using several other vouchers and that scares me enough as it is and don't want to get into trouble or do something naughty!
And I did thank all the posts by the way but I've just looked back and they are unthanked, thanked them again, so if they aren't thanked then sorry and Thank you! :rotfl:0 -
How to make ribbon decorations for presents
You will need:-
Two lengths of ribbon, one for the present and one for the bow. The one for the bow needs to be about 1” wide for best results.
Needle and thread
Small piece of elastic
Embroidery/Tapestry thread or similar
First we make the ribbon for the present, sew the end of the elastic onto the end of the ribbon, using an overlapping (back) stitch as it won’t hold otherwise. Next, wrap the ribbon around the box, overlapping opposite corners. Holding each end of the ribbon, turn the box over so you can see where the ribbon meets, cut the ribbon excess off leaving a small overlap if you wish to have the elastic hidden. Stretch the loose end of the elastic enough to hold the ribbon in place on the box and fasten with a pin or a single stitch, you can then remove the ribbon and finish sewing on the elastic.
To make the bow, take a length of the embroidery thread and lay it vertically on the table. Lie the ribbon shiny side down, horizontally.
Cross the two ends of ribbon in front of each other, making sure the thread stays roughly in the apex of the cross.
The next bit is the tricky bit...pick the bow up, holding the top part of the thread tight in your fingers, and wrap the loose end around the ribbon to make the bow, this is the best way to keep it in shape. Keep wrapping the cord until you have the desired effect, leaving enough length to tie the bow to the main ribbon.
Tie the bow onto the main ribbon with the thread, tie off with a triple knot and snip the loose ends, make it secure but not too tight as you will probably need to move it along the ribbon. Fix the main ribbon onto the box so the elastic is on the underside and slide the bow into the desired position, finish by snipping the ends of the bow diagonally – done!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
