Thanks to the OP of the wine, got some today :j

Also thanks to the OP for the chocolate glitch. I Wanted to get some galaxy counters because I love them and the cinema tickets would be great. They had tonnes of packets but not a single one had the cinema offer on them:(

HC tends to disappear when it's his round.:beer::rotfl:

I used to know someone who was a right chancer, he never bought a drink for himself but had the gift of the gab in getting everyone else to buy him a drink. Anyway, one night he was talking away and it came to the point where he asked for a drink and I replied with "After all the drinks I've bought you it's your turn to buy me one." So off he goes and I watched him, he got talking to someone at the bar who then bought him a drink which he then brought over and gave to me. Now that's tight! HC's Autism doesn't let me do things like that or else I would!:rotfl::rotfl:

He wasn't a particularly nice person but his friend (and his friends ex) always have time for me so they pretty much came as a package. Anyway, I called time on them when I found out that the chancer (who is short, fat, ginger and has a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp) was pretending that he owned 3 quarters off the only gay club in town when the new students arrived. He made it clear to them that unless they slept with him they would be banned. The manager, owner and his friend all knew what he was up to but didn't do a thing to stop him. It was then that I called time on the 'scene' because I thought to myself "I'm nothing like these stuck up, pretentious, arrogant, materialistic bum wipes and I want nothing to do with them or their scene."

The only gay bar I'll go in to is one in Glasgow for bears as they are like me, down to earth with a good sense of humour.

And there is absolutely no justice in the world because the chancer ended up with a right stunning boyfriend for about 3 years.:eek: Turned out the guy liked fat guys (always wondered why he went with me on the occasions he did) but when it came down to it, I was too fat.:(:rotfl:

I've tried a search and can't find anything.....

The Galaxy Bites are now in the 2 for £3 offer also. Please can anyone that bought these yesterday tell us if they compare to M's :D:D That'll be another one on the list ;)

Just to make it clear, I'm not asking if they glitched against M's because I think those, like the M&M's choc were £1 per bag in A's until the price change today ;) I simply would like to know if it recognises that M's sell the Galaxy bites and what price it thinks they are in M's ;) THANK YOU!

Kind of answering myself, I didn't ask at CS but the price on the shelf I must have misread sorry :( They're priced up at £2.09 in my local, no sign of the 2 for £3 though they could have been missed. My local A's is very small and I don't like going to CS too often even to check prices, the staff all know me already!:o:o:o And I already checked the Shades, scanning at £3 here too.

Just been for my 2nd lot of chocs andddddd there's another local MSE'r or lurker!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps naive of me but I really didn't think there was! The 1p honeycomb TCO's and promises stayed on the shelf for over a week. But I've just gone to A's and the Green's mixes have been raided, the shelf was full earlier and the last tin of beanz were gone too!!

Can't believe there's someone else, wish they'd come out and play!! :hello:

My old one is 8 years old. Hence why oh couldn't install mountain lion. He purchased a newer model behind my back.

When he updated it and got it running it was unusable glitchy.

I returned it yesterday with help from customer support.

OH then tried to get my old one back running for me (which is snow leopard) and now my photos, pages, docs etc are inaccessible. :(

He took it to somewhere yesterday for sorting but I have just heard that it hasn't even undergone triage.

    Aargh.

So, it sounds like you've updated your apps/documents etc to run on the new machine you sent back but now they won't run on the old one because the format is too new? If your old machine is capable of Lion or Mountain Lion (whichever OS the newer machine was) then install it on your old machine. Do a fresh install though and remember to back up everything you want to keep to an external HDD.

Failing that, find someone with a Mac with the same OS that the Mac was running that you sent back and see if you can save your files as the older system...

What exactly did your OH try to do to your old one?
