Thank you BlondyNurse for the new thread
Boo to the BS glitch being semi-fixed this morning
Who turned on the heat? It's almost midnight and I still haven't cooled down. Wombling in this heat is torture
Someone mentioned Jamaica Ginger Cake - this and the golden syrup one are only 39p each in Home Bargains which is a darn sight cheaper than B1G1F at £1.30.
Thank you to the OP for the kids book glitch. I was majorly trouted. I got told that the 3 for £5 offer worked on a per shelf basis and because I picked the Pirate one from shelf 3 and Disney ones from shelf 4, that's why it didn't work. I should have read the shelf labels and ignored the identical stickers. I've never heard such a pile of codswallop. Even the 2nd trout on CS knew that the Pirate book was the one causing the problem so instead of removing/fixing, the books were left there
Thank you to another OP for the information on the 0800 phone app. Because of this I was able to phone CS from the store (who refused to honour the price - DTD wasn't even discussed). She asked to speak to one of the staff but given the attitude I got I declined so they're sending a giftcard for £8 and lots of humble apologies plus I have a clean receipt. Tempting but it was a bargain at £1 for 3 so will leave at that.
Well done to MasterLala and all the other exam kids. It's a long and distant memory for me and not one I'm looking forward to repeating as the parent.
Pringles didn't work. Wombles were useless but I did finally get enough to send off for the P&G picnic set (my last attempt had duplicate receipt entries so I had to start off again).
I think that's everythingSorry but this heat is getting to me so signing off again. Nighty night everyone :A
I knew I'd forgotten something - my PPs hadn't come back today but if I re-input the details they came back on screen. Just checked and still no emails. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -

I've tried that also, but still nothing. Guess I will just have to hope it turns up tomorrow. Glad you got yours back0 -

The thing with the ginger cake is that there is/was printable vouchers to get these free and as they are BOGOF at T you received £1.30 off your shopping plus two free cakes :T0 -
hello

I know I'm becoming a stranger :eek::o
work and packing getting in the way.
But I thought I post this piece of interesting news.
At-checkout voucher scheme gives Morrisons new targets
Wombling at Mr M:eek::j:beer::TThe retailer said it will have installed the Catalina coupon system in all of its 476 stores by the end of the month.
Shoppers will receive a variety of coupons targeted at them on the basis of an analysis of their individual baskets - including vouchers offering money off their next shop and deals on major brands.0 -
:j :j :j I am all caught up on the old thread and on this one :j :j :j
I made a frightening decision last night well it terrified me:eek: and I've gone and paid the deposit on my new car. I did go with the Nissan Note after all as it offered everything I wanted and needed. At the start of my search, I told myself that if I could get a new Note with all the specs I wanted, in the colour I wanted at a certain price I set myself, then I would go for it. Although I did look at 1-year-old cars, and also at the Meriva which proved too expensive, I did find my car at exactly the price I was looking for :j
So, it is being registered for me to pick it up first thing in the morning in two weeks time - Saturday 1st September, with the new 62 plate ................. and I am very excited :j :j
But, like I said, it is a very scarey thing to do, spend that much money on a car, when you've never had a new car before   and never really had that sort of money before either   However, Alan did want me to try to get a new car so he wasn't worried about me getting around, and having transport problems, so I am happy with my decision
You'll love it their fab cars and new means no hassle which I'm sure is what you need.
Happy new car xx :j:j if u were local to me I'd be spotting u out on the 1st... Admit it we all play that gameThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
