Morrning everyone, just finished my night shift and am feeling knackered. Tried to catch up at work but was not very successful. I read something about a wine and chocolate glitch so am going to see if I can catch up now. Not that my brain is working too well due to sleep deprivation. :( Please feel free to help me out. ;) TIA

Whaky i haven't done either of these glitches yet but it has kep me awake most of the night wondering if i should do, its the free cinema ticket bags of maltesers ect one of the shops asda i think are charging £2 per bag but going thru till as 2 for £3, but on price comparison you get £2 back as tesco has them at £1
so works out very cheap there is also a morrisons comparison which i don't know if it is better or not. this is a very rough guide somebody will be along and tell you the exact figures which i haven't quite worked on yet as asda too far away for me. xxxxxxx

If anyone is thinking of downloading the Mountain Lion update - DON'T! It's a pile of ,,,,,! Wait for the next update.

HC. I agree it is rubbish. My OH bought a later version of an iMac as mine is 8 years old. Apparently my old one was not a late enough model for the update.

Well this eBay iMac was useless. We sent it back yesterday with a prepaid postage from eBay customer support. Rubbish seller anyway. It should have come with a wireless keyboard but some keys wouldn't work. He said he wouldn't replace it as it wasn't working when he bought it off eBay himself 3 months ago so why should he lose out

Anyway, when we put a wired keyboard to it, the iMac was completely unusable. We arranged directly with eBay to return it as I do not want to communicate with the guy as he used bad language in his last email.

OH tried to put my old iMac back on but now it can't access my photos, pages, documents etc:eek: they are backed up but apparently it isn't usual to go backwards not forwards with updates etc.

It is currently with a guy in a nearby town who fixes apple products. He has got the external hard drive and my iMac. I just pray it comes back ok. All my work is on there.

OH reckoned it was the update that made the newer iMac all glitchy and rubbish but we were so fed up with the seller at that point that we just wanted to get our money back.

Hopefully I can get to print vouchers again!!!!

It took me ages to get my old computer to do so. I just hope it's easier now.

You have to buy an even number from the above selection and then claim an APG voucher.

All the above are £2.09 each/2 for £3. They may not be marked on shelf as 2 for £3 but thats what they scan at.

If you submit an APG claim it THINKS you have paid £4.18 for every 2 packs in A and compares this against Ts price of £2 less 10%. So you get £2.38 back from your £3 spend meaning you have only "spent" 62p per 2 packs

Just remember you have to buy at least 8 different APG qualifying items and you should only buy items that are the same price or cheaper in T to get maximum return.

I bought a banana,a lemon, a carrot, an onion, Smart price batter mix, SP rice pud, SP instant whip (didn't compare), SP tuna, SP inst custard, 2 tins of spam using BOGOF voucher, and 8 bags of the Gal Counters. Total £16 ish (paid with apg's), got APG of £9.73 back.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Oo. Good news. As I am not joining my family on the John Muir Award camping holiday, my OH is taking along his pal.

I get along with his mother really well and she had insisted that I come out for a meal with her tonight at her expense.
I declined at first as I hate people having to pay for me but she really insisted (in a very nice way).

Well to cut to the chase, I have a strong feeling that it is a licensed restaurant (I will be checking in a minute on the phone) so would like to bring along wine if it is a BYO place. At least I won't feel as bad accepting her kind hospitality if I am contributing.

May I please ask which wine it is?

If I can't get any, I will rebottle my elderflower champagne and take that along but it's a bit of a faff.

    Thanks in advance,

    JJ

Ps, pictures make it easy on my poor addled brain ;)
