The Magic Stars don't work so favourably against T because they are selling at £2.09 a pack. You will only get back 42p per 2 packs against T.

Nerfdad says you get the best return on the Magic Stars against Morries but I just realised they didn't actually say what the return was

I got Majic stars,galaxy counters and maltesers all work out ar 31p a pack in a Asda V Morries shop.

Off to Drayton Mannor today so good luck everyone.

Morning all re above Maltesers If asdas are £4,18 and Tescos are £2.00 am I right in saying that Asdas will give you back £2.18 on condition that you meet the terms and conditions So I say to myself why dont I just buy them in Tescos at £2.00 and forget about the 18p I would have saved

You dont get back £2.18, you get back £2.38 because A beats T by 10%

And you don't pay £4.18 for any of them. You only pay £3 because they are on multibuy offer. THE APG checker doesn't seem to recognise that though

So spend £3, get £2.38 back = 62p for 2 bags of sweets

4 bags of these sweets entitles you to a free cinema ticket on a Sunday at selected cinemas

Ah, well, you see, you are actually charged only £3 per 2 pouches, as there is an offer on in A's at the moment. However, for the purpose of the APG, their price checker omits the offer price, and compares instead, at the full price per pouch.

SO you pay £3, APG thinks you've paid £4.18, compares to T's at £2, and give you £2.18 back. But you only paid £3 initially, total cost, 41p per pouch.

I think you need a coffee because the Galaxy, and Maltesers worked out at 34p a bag in Morries for me :rotfl:
