wow thats good...didnt know the petrol kiosks gave til spits,...and Sainsbobs is nearest to me and usually cheaper than |Ts or As...bt I always end up at filling up when I'm at Ts somehow!! Will definately go to S instead if theyre going to give me tilspits!
Yes its a good idea to get some petrol 1st and then go to do your S shop if you get a conditional spend. You can also get the tills pits at the medicine counter“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Butter was still working in my T Express about an hour ago - I got two but there were loads (I'm the only one who eats butter in this house and the freezers already stuffed to the gills with stuff!).
I've had a good MSE day - found another 4p on the floor in A's
A's have a 9pk of Cadbury Flake for £1  Got two of those paid for with APG all bar 1p!
Also got a duvet cover set in A's, was £22 reduced to a tenner, paid with APG all bar 5p.
Popped into Boots to get another couple of perfumes, essentially BOGOF plus a few extra points.
Found a 51p BM in S' carpark, bought Spam fritters using BOGOF voucher, plus 1 more tin of Beanz with my last voucher, paid £1.49 altogether!
And now, am about to put through my pile of wombled A receipts. Fingers crossed!
Glad you managed to get some butter. Which postcode area did you go to?
I found a whole pallet of 8 plenty in a's just now :jczerniacha wrote: »How could we forget you?
yeah, I still have my 'kitchen' to transport(glasses, pans and lots of other stuff free/very cheap from T) plus Lenor, Palmolive and some BS gifts
going for 1,5 weeks
off to A now
Hello! Have a safe trip
Been to a's and got chocolate but my brain went blank and I could not remember what I had to do. So I picked up 4 lots of 2 for £3 and will see if it comes back with anything
Wombled a 97 pounder at the till of all places, and it was from 12th July
Very little in the way of wombling but now I got competition I'm not suprised! 20:01 and 21:11. Chocolate one is the later one.
And I have beans! The SA was very helpful and probably would have taken 100 if I'd given them to him. I caught him looking at my cleavage :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I feel like screaming
1st my tax credits have been stopped - thought this was due to them sending me a letter asking who Mr blahblahblah was and why I hadn't notified them of a change in circumstances! The person in question is my brother, I had phoned them on Tuesday when I got their letter to let them know and ask the girl to check for both my mum and dad's names on there too. She'd done this but according to the girl I've just spoke to the other one must have clicked on something to cancel my payments so have just spent an hour on the phone confirming everything
2nd my housing benefit payments haven't been made at all, so yet another phone call in the morning to sort that out. It's only taken them from April to realise they're missing information
3rd. Sofa has broken, one side totally unusable as springs have gone, the other OK for now but as it's only a 2 seater not suitable for us so searching everywhere online to see how much that'll cost.
Was offered on by a relative but she wants £400 for it as it's only a week old but don't have that sort of money. Looking on freecycle/freegle etc.
Only good thing to happen today was getting all of DSes uniform in under an hour. Luckily his secondary school are very strict on the types of shoes etc so no arguing about him wanting trainer looking shoes because that's not allowed, only 'proper' shoes thank goodness. The rest of the uniform is bought from a school shop who put the school badge on blazers and turn up trousers too so very much a one stop shop.
Well off to trawl the net to see if I can get anything suitable.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D
