Please tell me I've not missed anything.

Just about to go do some serious catching up.

Quick question.. has anyone ever been a bit cheeky and handed a conditional spend over to be taken off their shopping before MOCs?

:rotfl::rotfl: Always and more than one if I can. :)

Got lots of reduced at Thornton M@rsh too. 6p kippers, 2p plums, 1p spring onions and lots of other pence veg. :)

I did ask why it was cheap so soon. He just said it saves him reducing it further later. :j

With the boots fragrance points offer, can you only get one lot of 500pts per transaction?

If I got 4, in order to use a £5 of £20 spend, would I get 2000 points?

Reading the post below it would appear so

You can get as many 500 points as you want to purchase

If you spend £5 to get 500 loyalty points then you have in some respects swapped £5 cash for £5 credit at the shop. However, cash is obviously more useful than credit, there are even restrictions what the credit can be spent on (e.g. not on prescriptions) although it's good for most things that the shop sells but beware you won't earn additional loyalty points when redeeming your credit and many things at the shop are more expensive than their competitors so really 500 points aren't quite as 'valuable' as they might seem!

I agree they are not as valuable as cash so you have to be patient and wait until that lovely bargain comes around (and they always do)

I popped into my local express on the way to a docs appointment alas they didn't stock the lurpak blocks.

I haven't felt 100% for a few weeks and I have a cough just like a smokers cough (last cigarette I had was way back in 1987) I am now on antibiotics and also a couple of other meds - I was gobsmacked when the pharmacist told me the price for 3 scripts:eek:

In jammies already and just going to curl up on sofa hopefully stay awake to watch cbb (lovin it)
