I LOVE their giant catering size jars of Schwartz herbs and spices, they are so cheap and a fantastic buy compared to those silly little jars. Might be worth a look?

    I can't cook.... :o

    Thankyou, it did!

    My MSE day so far:

Sold some old willy shaped ice cube trays via FB (I used to work for a well know lingerie party plan company), made a fiver.

Had to put the dreaded petrol in so that set me back £30, but I did find a penny outside the garage! :rotfl:

Neighbour gave me £10 Argos voucher that she 'couldn't make use of' so that will be used to buy the replacement shower/bath mixer for the one I broke last week :o but which are half price in Argos at the moment!

Bought my two big chickens in Costco but nothing else, and neighbour bought me breakfast to say thankyou for taking her, also got free drink refill! Also she gave me five bars of Mars Ltd Ed Caramel out of a box she bought.

Arrived home to find package from the online chemist mentioned on the last thread, so have a years antihistamine for DS for £1.20 :T
Still nothing from BS though, my order from Sat still says 'awaiting despatch'.

Off to A's in a minute to get my ten free tinz of beanz :) and use an APG to get spuds for tonights dinner. And of course, a wee spot of wombling..

    :money:
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Hi, just got a couple in Sainsbobs - they said 50p on SEL and scanned at that too:)

I think T's offer ended 20/08, but S's offer ends 21/08 so should still have them at 50p in S's until the end of the day:)

Same her eit was nice while it lasted. My last pork shop I got 2 packs, 2 Lenor spring, wash up gloves, wash up sponges, carrot, apple sauce etc so all useful items and after my TPP and lenor MOCS I paid less than a fiver. I got a £2 TPP back for the lenor so not back for a final florish.

So I have a few MOCs and points for non matching items so I might use up my TPP for that.

Nomm. Inspired by FKs fish pics yesterday, we have just had the nicest dinner. Poached haddock (28p last night at Asda) in milk. I made up a white sauce with the reserved milk, cracked pepper, flour and leeks softened in butter (4 leeks for 15p from Asda. Still got some left:j)
This was served on a celeriac (14p) and swede (10p for half) mash.

It was really nice and MEGA cheap. The fish wasn't as cheap as FKs caught fish though ;)

I'm having roast seal tonight............ :p
