cancelling loan?
Hi there..i recently applied for a loan from Northern Rock for £4000 and got accepted at a rate of 9.9%. At the same time i applied to Smile for the same amount. Smile took a while to get back to me so didnt think I was going to be accepted so yesterday I signed and posted agreement for NR. As luck goes i heard from Smile this morning offering me the loan at 6.9%. obviously I'd sooner have the cheaper rate from Smile but am I now tied to NR loan or can I cancel without penalty?...Thanks for any help...
