Squash/Cordial Measure?

Sainsbury's have started selling a plastic gizmo to go on your bottle of cordial. It's supposed to measure out 12.5ml of cordial per pour to help stop over dispensing. Great idea, if only I could get it to work!

Anyone had any success with this & want to tell me where I'm going wrong?

I actually can't even think what you mean by your description, sorry about that. Can you maybe contact Sainsburys?

Take it back for a refund
the amount of cordial you need depends very much on the brand your buying and personal taste - this sounds a daft idea and if you can't get to work an even dafter one
