For anyone that likes to read, then you should be aware of this site. Project Gutenberg makes books available for free download so you can read them on your computer. There are over 15,000 available and growing. Lots of classics and all sorts. The books come in many different formats and languages, so there should be something for everyone on this site.
All the books are completely free for personal use or distribution for non commercial use.
