Hi all,
Am looking at bankruptcy as a viable option and am just wondering how it will affect the rest of my family who live like me in the family home. If I go bankrupt will my siblings be affected? Find it harder or even impossible to get normal credit?
I have vaguely heard a credit note (or something) can be put on the credit record of the address (with companies like Experian etc) stating my bad credit and making clear it is just me but I am unsure of this or what it is etc
Has anyone been through this?
thanks!

I believe the reference agencies have now changed the terms of their search to include name and address instead of address only.
We did a check last year before BR which showed a CCJ against OH . This was a mistake due to the search only trawling the postcode and address which was almost the same as ours due to a post office !!!! up.
It appears that they do not just black mark the address now.
