Myself and my partner finally found our dream house. We are first time buyers. I am in full time employment, permanent, the same is my boyfriend. The only thing is that he only started his job on 1st of June, he is not on any probation period. When I spoke with hsbc mortgage advisor she said they will need 3 last payslips. He only has 2, the third one he will get by the end of the month and we have mortgage appointment in hsbc next week. Will the letter from employer be enough?

Logically if there is no probabationary period, you would think that HSBC would be happy to get a letter from the employer.
In reality HSBC is breathtakingly picky about who it lends to and this forum has more posts than you can count from people who thought HSBC would give them a mortgage but were disappointed.
I would go along expecting the worst and then if it is good news then be happy.
Can't you just postpone your meeting with HSBC until after he's got his payslip? or is it withdrawing a rate you want?0 -
Wait for HSBC or go elsewhere.
