    Like I say, I think we're being only told half a story, but the fact that his parents are sending his wife & his in-laws e-mails about their own child is completely wrong. He wouldn't have mentioned it if they were just normal e-mails, which leads me to believe they are either spreading rumors or are just trying to cause trouble.

    I know it's not a lot of help, but this is exactly why you should never lend money to family members.

    Either give it as a gift and let it go, or don't give it at all. Money is the root of all evil.
