My stepdaughter has been invited for a training day and interview by this company at their offices in North London, having had a telephone interview yesterday.
From the research I have done it appears the job may involve door to door sales, possible for various charities, being entirely commission based, so whilst the salary they advertise is from £16k to a potential £36k, this seems rather unrealistic.
I am not convinced this is the job for her but don't want to put her off if they are legitimate and worthwhile looking into further - has anyone had any recent experience of any interviews/working for this company?
It will cost her upwards of £60 which she can barely afford just to get to the interview, which is not reimbursed if she is unsuccessful.
Any information much appreciated!

I wouldn't go for 3 reasons, 1 being im not a fan of D2D sales, 2 entirely commission based and 3 paying upwards of £60 to get there which is not reimbursed if she is unsuccessful.
Is she comfortable with D2D selling ? if not then dont apply.0 -
yes sadly it seems like a wholly unsuitable "job" for want of a better word for it. A young girl knocking door to door on commission only basis sounds a bit dangerous too.0

A friend of mind did this when she was younger and made good money doing it. There's two sorts of people in this world, those who can sell and those who can't, and if she can do it, she'll earn well, that and any other sales job she'll ever have will be easy by comparison!
Most companies send you out on a gang to work an area between you, mainly to save transport costs, but it means you've got a friendly face near if you need it.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
