Yeah it's gone up.
Good deal for a 250gb drive but I don't know why they insist on trying to sell it on looks:
"Designed by the world-famous Porsche Design Agency, the LaCie Hard Drives exhibit world-class style and elite performance. The result of decades of architectural expertise, these drives feature state-of-the-art design and awesome performance."
State of the art design? It's a plain silver box! Must have taken them hours...
Reading this signature is a waste of time0 -
All Porsche stuff seems to be finished in brushed steel. See their kettles, coffee machines and toasters!

God that toaster is damn ugly! Give me a Cayman S anyday. This signature is not mine!0 -
just received email from misco they mispriced the hard drive and will not honour the price0

This may be a slightly more expensive, and smaller drive but you are not likely to get one cheaper.
Offer came in Email today, from SVP and requires 200 people to sign up for offer to get it off the ground.
Finally, a rather different offer, or potential offer I should say. If I get 200 people interested I'll do the deal.
If this works out we can supply a brand new Freecom 160GB external hard drive similar to the one pictured opposite (colour may vary) for an incredible £39.99!
Freecom make good external drives that look good and work well.
If you would like to buy one of these drives (assuming I am able to get 200 people who are interested) then please email freecom160@svp.co.uk with a subject line of "I would like a cheap Freecom 160GB Hard Drive". As soon as we reach 200 genuine looking signups we'll email everyone who has signed up with instuctions for how to buy the hard drive.

At least their customer service has improved though.
Last time I ordered something that they couldn't/wouldn't supply, they didn't bother telling me until after they'd sent the £1.50 ish worth of cables that I'd ordered - with a postage cost still of about £6.
Refused to refund that postage aswell, and then ignored all my emails after that. Needless to say that that was the last time I'll ever order from them.
Unlucky about the hard drive by the way.0 -

Presumably, if they only get 199 people interested, then they are just going to treat the emails as an intention of interest, and not sell them to the 199 at the higher price . . .0
