4 Bed house by 2016!

Ok so this is my diary. I have been a long time lurker and follower of MSE and always dip into the OS boards and have managed to get my grocery shops to about 100 for me, OH and his 3 kids (every second weekend) and 2 wee dogs.

Total debt is just over 22k, 18 of that made up of OH debts.
both of use combined bring in about 2700 a month.
we currently paying interest only on my OH house which is a two bed but we want to upsize by 2 bedrooms by 2015/16. I am studying for a degree in my field and this should up my income by about 15k per annum by about 2014 ISH.
we have about 40k equity in the house now and I expect a living inheritance from me old Da in about 2 years (did the same for my sister) so will have about 120 deposit for a house value about 200k.
What i want to do is clear the debts, save save save so we can add more to that deposit and/or have some funds for remodelling...(I work in interiors so have a pretty good idea of what I want, its NOT something I could buy on the market now so would require work.)

Then the plan is mortgage free by the time I am in my early 40s.
give me 10-13 years.

Writing all this down and actually setting goals in writing has really given me a boost. Been struggling for last year (mom passed 2 years ago) but I am back studying and OH has finally!!! got a permanent employment position after redundancy in 2011.

Today was the start. Letters sent to all OH creditors propsing new payment plan to clear arrears and start repayment.
luckily my file is not too bad but be good to close some old accounts, perhaps next month.

Things I have signed up to:

-NOOOOOOO new clothes until June 2013. 45 pairs of shoes should get me through till then!

-BEst plan'd my orange and managed to cut in HALF. :rotfl:

-House insurance up for renewal end of september... must try cashback sites for this.

-figure out a way to clear out the back garden spending nothing.
