I'm looking to buy a Plasma tv from Dixons website so am trying to get the price down as much as possible, so im just wondering if it is possible to get the 5% egg card discount AND the quidco discount
It would seem that you cant have both, as both offers require you to use their own referral link to access the Dixons website, but im just wondering if anyone has managed to get both by doing something like this:
1) Sign-in to Quidco and click the referral link to Dixons. This would ensure that the Quidco website registers a click-thru to the Dixons website for your account at say 10am on the 29/03/07
2) Dont buy anything from the Dixons window that opens
3) Quickly go to the Egg website and follow the link to Dixons website and quickly buy the item (that should mean the 5% Egg card discount is deducted)
4) Once the TV has been purchased wait until you are able to file an enquiry on Quidco website that it hasnt tracked your cashback (the Quidco website should remember the click-thru you did at 10am on 29/03/07) so it should look as if it just hasnt tracked properly
5) Hope Quidco & Dixons pay up with the extra cashback!
Anyone successfully done this??

So, essentially you are wanting to commit fraud?
Just do what normal people do and use one or the other - not both. As they are using affiliate links you aren't going to be able to combine them.0 -
if it was a small item then yes, but spending upwards of £1000 an extra 2.5% makes a difference0
