AFAIK you are allowed to sell old stuff you own already but not to buy stuff specifically to sell - well that's what I got told a few years back anyway. Also have you tried anywhere like PDSA to see if they might be able to help out with the cost - am not sure if you need to go to one their own vets but is worth asking.0
