need some help advice on fixed rate mortgage

    They may have a pre-agreed lending limit for you, but you have to fit within the lender's criteris for the scheme selected.

    So if the maximum borrowing on the scheme is 80% then that will be the maximum they will give you on that product - they will have other that will go up to 90%

    thanks for the info on barclays/woolwich unfortunatley neither myself or the wife has an account with them,... between us we seem to have accounts with every other bank except woolwich or barclays, hows yer luck!

    just to update, i've been in touch with a mortgage broker and shes managed to find a good deal although she hasn't applied yet but from her experience they do lend large multiples.

    its a fixed deal on 5.28% with a gbp399 arrangement and gbp 200 cash back and free valuation.

    i dont think i'll get a better deal than this and was hoping to go back tomorrow and say were go for it, unless anyone can suggest any other decent deal whereby they will lend higher multiples.
