Panasonic's breadmakers are well known for producing the most delicious loaves, and in the last few hours Amazon have reduced the price of the SD-2500 WXC (the one without the raisin dispenser) to £59.99! Apparently it's a price match response to an offer by Tesco Direct, who have since sold out of theirs.

Excellent reviews. Have been wanting one of these for ages. Very good price and free delivery.
Camelizer shows previous lowest price for Amazon was £86.65.
Just to add this appears to be a Tesco price match so if you have clubcard vouchers you can exchange and get it even cheaper.

The best breadmaker by a long shot. Bargain price, but my Panny is 9 years old and going strong, so I don't need another one. But these are really good!
Incidentally, I have a raisin dispenser, and just about never use it. I often add pumpkin seeds to my wholemeal, and frankly it comes out better if I add them at the beginning.0 -
John Lewis also selling this online at £59.99 too0

OMG, gutted, I bought this just a few months ago at full price :-(
It is a fantastic breadmaker though, and is my 2nd panny. 1st one is over 6yrs old and still going strong, I just wanted a 2nd one as there are 6 of us now, we keep running out of bread!!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
fantastic bargain! I am a very happy lady as i have wanted one of these for a while.thank you.:)0

I have always wanted a breadmaker so am very tempted, is it a hassle to make though and how long does it take to bake?0

Anywhere from 2 to around 5 hours dependent on programme, they are absolutely fantastic, we never buy bread now - does help to have a slicer too to get the best from it - freezes well, then you just take out what you need as and when.
The smell of home cooked bread is fab, nearly as good as the taste - go get one gal!0 -

No hassle, for a basic white loaf, strong flour, sugar, salt, knob of butter, dried yeast - stick em all in and get on with something else - it really is that easy0
