Why have you got that impression?
What parts of the TMPP has he got?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Because my mother in law works at Halifax and has told me that it doesn't cover self employed people, I was just wondering if this is correct?
I'm not a hundred percent shaw do you know how I would find that out, he has got 4 all together?0 -
it does cover self-employed, but he needs to involuntarily stop trading ie go bust to claim the unemployment. there are no issues claiming on the sickness part.hollyvstanton wrote: »Because my mother in law works at Halifax and has told me that it doesn't cover self employed people, I was just wondering if this is correct?
also self-employment doesnt matter on the life and critical illness part.0 -
So would you say he his entitled to claim anything back then or not?0

I'm not sure what information or things like that!
I just need to know where to start really
Thanks for your help0 -
just send a complaint letter to halifax saying he believes it was mis-sold as he was self-employed. they will investigate it and come back to you.0
-
Is it as easy as that, do you know of I try and fail
Can I then get a company to investigate this for me! I have got the complaint letter from
Martin Lewis site is this the correct one0
